There are to my limited knowledge at least three different types of Souls characterized by the way they return to life. I call them Transmigratory, Theophanic & Hereditary souls.

A hereditary soul is paired with the same father life after life. If a group of two hereditary souls are paired with a transmigratory soul then it seems these latter two generations will always wear the same face, as the bones of the skull inherit a familiar form.

This soul was once known as Beethoven. You think him long since dead. In 1998 I met him & asked him if he knew why the real reason why he dedicated so much of his music to Ludwig Van Beethoven. You can open his CDs & find the dedication. That was an interesting conversation. We had not spoken for quite a long time.

Lycurgus

Lycurgus intended to remove any inequalities in ownership of personal property as well as real property, but he realized that it would be too difficult to proceed openly. Therefore, he took an indirect approach. His solution was to ban ownership of any gold or silver, and to allow only money made of iron. The iron coins of Sparta were dipped in vinegar to make the metal brittle and worthless. Merchants laughed at this money because it had no intrinsic value, so imports of luxuries stopped. Robbery and bribery vanished from Sparta instantly.

All useless occupations were banned in Sparta. This law was hardly necessary, because along with gold and silver, all of the evil creatures that accompany them went away too. Who would come to practice fraud, fortune-telling, prostitution, jewelry, or the other trades of luxury and larceny, in a country where there was no gold and silver money? So luxury, deprived little by little of the fuel that fed it, gradually died out. The rich had no advantage over the poor because wealth was useless.

The most effective measure against the love of money was Lycurgus' law that all meals had to be eaten together at public mess-halls. Everyone ate the same thing, so money could not buy dainty food. And since the rich could not eat at home, there was no way for them to show off their fancy things. The rich could no longer spend their lives at home, lying on their couches and stuffing themselves with unwholesome delicacies, like pigs being fattened for slaughter. No longer could they ruin not only their minds but also their bodies, becoming so weak by lazy overindulgence that they needed long sleep, warm baths, and about as much care as if they were constantly sick.

This law was more than the rich could stand, so one day they got together and complained. Angry words were followed by rocks, and Lycurgus had to run for his life. He managed to outrun all of his assailants except one young man named Alcander. When Lycurgus turned to see who was behind him, Alcander hit him in the face with a stick, blinding one eye. The others caught up and saw Lycurgus with his bloody face and ruined eye. They were ashamed at what Alcander had done, and they gave him to Lycurgus for punishment. Lycurgus thanked them for saving him, then he took Alcander into his house as his servant.

In this position, Alcander had a chance to see how gentle and hard-working Lycurgus was, and from being an enemy he became an admirer and a friend. Alcander told his friends and relatives that Lycurgus was not as bad as they thought he was, but rather the most gentle man in the world. Thus did Lycurgus make this wild and violent young man one of the best citizens of Sparta.

WILD

WILD stands for Wake Initiated Lucid Dream because the dreamer manages to enter a dream directly from the waking state without any lapse in consciousness. Most believe that this is possible because when the body is motionless for a long period of time, the brain is tricked into thinking that the dreamer has gone to sleep. When that happens the mind disconnects itself from the body in what's known as sleep paralysis. From there the brain enters REM and dreams start to form, allowing the dreamer to go into it directly.

There are many different strategies to consciously entering a dream. This tutorial focuses on the traditional WILD technique in which the dreamer simply remains motionless and waits for the body to fall asleep. Ways to keeping your mind conscious will also be explained here.

Background

The term 'Wake Initiated Lucid Dream' was coined by Dr. Stephen Laberge, however people have been doing it for thousands of years. Famous WILDers included Salvador Dali who spoke of a trance-like state in which he could walk around an imaginary world. Most believe that monks who practice deep mediation occasionally enter dreams this way, some of which may be interpreted as the state of nirvana.

Preparation.

There are two times that you can successfully WILD: In the middle of the night, during a REM cycle, or during the day for a nap.

Middle of the Night

You must learn to wake yourself up during or right before a REM cycle. This can be difficult since the common way to wake up is after a REM cycle. During the later parts of sleep the REM cycles are very close to each other, so waking up after one should suffice. It is usually recommended that you get about six hours of sleep first.

The obvious way to wake up will be to use an alarm clock. You'd have to know about when your REM cycles occur to time it correctly, but at best, it would be an estimate.

Another common way to wake up is to drink a large amount of water or juice before bed. You will wake up in the middle of the night and have to go to the bathroom. Your body will not wake you up for that (you could easily hold it all night), however, if you are already up because you just finished a dream, your body will signal you to go to the bathroom. At this time you have just finished a REM cycle. This may also prove inexact because you may wake up too early in the night to be effective.

Stretching is a good idea before a WILD attempt. Your muscles have remained for the most part motionless for several hours and are stiff. Stiff muscles will ache and cause discomfort, which will hinder your WILD attempt.

Nap

In order to successfully WILD during a nap, you first need to deeply relax yourself and clear your mind. Meditation is an effective way to do this. If you don't clear your mind completely, it has a harder time detaching itself from the physical world and allowing itself to me immersed in the dream state.

How to WILD.

Attention Switching

The basic principle of the Traditional WILD technique is to switch your focus from external stimuli to internal ones. This portion of the technique does that. Lay down in a comfortable position. This is probably the position that you normally fall asleep in because the mind is used to it. The point of this step is to get your body to think that you've fallen asleep and shut down. This is called sleep paralysis. It happens every time you fall asleep, you are just usually already unconscious when it happens. Don't fret if it feels strange, the feeling of sleep paralysis varies greatly with each experience; some people may feel nothing at all.

During your time in this phase you may also experience hypnagogic hallucinations. These can be of any senses, but most often are associated with sights and sounds. There are several common hallucinations, however they can take many forms.

The memory footprint hypnagogic hallucination is the one that tells you that you are getting close to a lucid dream. It happens when you are hovering between the subconscious and conscious minds, dipping into the subconscious to pick up a part of a dream image, but then coming back out. Because you are in between consciousnesses when seeing memory footprints, it is important not to disrupt yourself because you are very close to slipping into the dream state.

Transition

Once you have successfully switched from external focus to an internal one it is time to enter the dream. This part either happens or it doesn't. Sometimes even while internally focused, a dream fails to form and you will drift asleep. This usually happens because you are not at the right part of your sleep cycle and are not ready to enter another REM cycle.

If you do enter a dream one of two things will happen.

The hypnagogic hallucinations that you've been seeing and hearing for the past few minutes may expand and encapsulate you in a dream. This is how you may choose the WILD that you want. During the transition phase, with practice, you can manipulate and control the hypnagogic imagery, which will allow you to paint your own dream (See Visualization WILD section.)

You may also see the hypnagogic hallucinations vanish completely and see the back of your eyelids. This is often where an inexperienced WILDer will fail their WILD as they think they've failed and will begin a non-lucid dream. This is the false awakening scenario. WILDers have reported that most of their WILDs start with a false awakening.

Visualization WILD

Often abbreviated V-WILD or VILD, a common variant of the WILD technique is to incorporate a visualization component. As your hypnagogic imagery forms it is possible to manipulate it and use your visualization powers to create a dream. Usually in high levels of consciousness you will not actually see your visualizations, you only get the concept of it. Conceptualization is a better term for this early stage of visualization. As your hypnagogic hallucinations become more detailed you should start to sense your visualizations with your sight and other senses as well. It's important to sense with all of your senses, not just the visual one. Obviously, the visual sense is one of the most important, but so it tactile senses and audio senses. These increase the realism of your visualization.

It is important to not attempt to control every aspect of your dream scene here, you want to both give input to the dream as well as receive output back. For instance if you are visualizing a car, don't try to visualize what the dash looks like, what kind of seats it has and things like that, just the abstract concept of the car. Your dream will create the car as it sees fit. You create the concept, let your dream will fill in the details.

With this variation of the WILD technique you can paint your own dream landscape, however without good visualization skills this can be difficult.

Stabilization

A false awakening (when you "wake up" in your bed within a dream) is already usually a pretty stable dream and requires little further stabilization other than maybe a little bit of looking around.

A dream that's formed around you may require some additional stabilizing. For one, you may still feel your body in your bed (or so it feels.) You may choose to "open your eyes" and accept the false awakening. This is your mind hanging onto the external signals that it just had.

If you really like the scene that you have created, you can work on getting rid of the feeling that you are still laying in bed. You should also be feeling the body that you have dreamed up, this is the one that you need to focus on. Tactile sensations are an effective way to do this, rubbing your hands together or touching everything in sight will allow your brain to forget about the other body. This will allow your consciousness to cement itself into the dreamworld that your mind has created.

Pros.

Logical

Whenever you wake up, the logic center of the brain turns on. This makes any type of technique where you wake up first far more logical and detailed than a DILD. This can be especially true for WILDs that take place during afternoon naps.

Recall

Getting up in the middle of the night allows you to remember the dream that you were having previous to that. This can give you memory of a dream that you may have otherwise forgotten.

Length

Because of where you should be in you sleep cycle and the fact that you are going directly into a dream and not waiting for a signal, you have an extended REM period, and every bit of it is lucid. The average WILD is usually much longer than the average DILD.

Cons.

Difficult to Learn

Some find that learning to transition from the waking state to the dreaming state is difficult to learn. There are a lot of sensations and hallucinations that you are not used to feeling / seeing. This tends to make you nervous or excited as well as distract you from what you should be doing. This takes time and practice to get right.

False Awakenings

With any kind of WILD technique, false awakenings as you enter the dream are very common. Most WILDers report that a good number of their WILDs begin with a false awakening, so be aware of WILD attempts that you think are failures.

Loss of Sleep

Because you are waking up in the middle of the night and staying up, you are losing sleep. Because of this it is recommended that you not WILD when you have to wake up early. It makes it difficult for students as well as those with 9-5 jobs.

Can be Scary

The onset of sleep paralysis varies from WILD to WILD and from person to person. Sometimes sleep paralysis isn't even felt, but on occasions it can feel very violent and cause a dreamer to want to break off the WILD attempt.

Toby Ord: Why I'm giving £1m to charity

Toby Ord is a university researcher earning not much more than the average salary. So why is he giving away £1m over his lifetime to help address global poverty?

When Facebook founder and billionaire Mark Zuckerberg pledged to give away most of his wealth during his lifetime, some British commentators bemoaned the lack of philanthropy on this side of the Atlantic.

But an academic at Oxford University is living off little more than £300 a month in an act of charity-giving that is arguably more impressive than those of Zuckerberg, Gates, Buffett and co.

Toby Ord, 31, has in the past year given more than a third of his earnings, £10,000, to charities working in the poorest countries. He also gave away £15,000 of savings, as the start of his pledge to give away £1m over his lifetime.

And he's started a campaign to recruit, Bill Gates-style, other people to give up at least 10% of their lifetime's earnings in the same way. A year on, 64 people have joined his movement Giving What We Can and pledged £14m.

Given his personal sacrifice, it's difficult not to feel rather intrigued about the kind of lifestyle he can maintain while so much of his earnings is going elsewhere.

And heading to Oxford to find out, there's a fleeting thought that we'll be sharing tea bags in a caravan parked on the banks of the Thames.

Instead, the Ord household inhabits a rented one-bedroom flat in a beautiful sandstone house in the heart of the city. But the interior is as modest as the exterior is glorious, furnished sparingly in a style reminiscent of student digs. There is no television, through choice rather than hardship, but plenty of books and DVDs.

The only signs of indulgence are the two Mac computers, for Ord and his wife, although as he points out, they are used so much that the cost works out at a few pence per hour. And he has an iPhone, which also helps him work.

Giving away a tenth of one's earnings is something most people in the UK can achieve without having to make much of a sacrifice, says Ord, who was born and raised in Melbourne, Australia.

"That's probably surprising because if you did a survey of 100 people, 99 would say they couldn't.

"When I was earning £14,000 as a student, I found I was in the richest 4% in the world, even adjusting for how much further money goes in developing countries.

"Giving away 10% of that, I found that I would still be in the top 5%. So while it can seem impossible to live on less, if your employer was to suddenly pay you less, you would get by somehow."

Ord gives away much more than a tenth. A year ago, he vowed to give away everything he earned above £20,000 and his wife, Bernadette Young, a medical doctor in the NHS, set a target of £25,000. After his first year, he has lowered his personal allowance to £18,000.

Ultimately, there weren't any big sacrifices, he says, and they still maintain a reasonable middle-class existence.

"What's really important in our lives is spending time together, chatting with our close friends and reading beautiful books and listening to beautiful music, and we're really lucky to live in a beautiful place and there are lots of stimulating cultural activities around. With all that you can't really ask for much more.

"I've also changed the way I look at the world. I don't want more stuff. If someone said to me 'Here's one thousand pounds' and I had to spend it on myself I would feel anxious about that because I just want to help people more and it would be a very frustrating time."

Ord lives in a rented flat in Oxford

He goes out for dinner about once a fortnight and for coffee about once a week. In the past year he spent £5,000 on rent to his employer and landlord, Balliol College. He kept £4,000 to live on and pay the bills, while still having enough to spend on a week's holiday in France and Italy, and put some away to buy a house.

Incidentally, in 10 years, Ord and his wife, who have no children, will have given away a sum that equals the average price of a house in the UK, just at a time when they will hope to have bought one themselves.

"When it began, I would be down in the supermarket agonising about whether to buy a more expensive cereal or not but I realise that's a road to a nervous breakdown and that it was much more sensible to work out at the start what you can live on [give away the rest in a lump sum] and then after a year readjust - can I live on less, am I pushing it too hard - instead of perpetually agonising about it."

It was while he was studying for a masters degree in philosophy that Ord came across the idea of sacrificing luxuries in order to save a life. He estimated that over his own lifetime he would need about £500,000 to live comfortably, and would therefore be able to give away £1m to those people in most need. But who are they?

"Some people think that the most important thing is to help the people who are the worst off. I think that's not always the case. What's really important is to help people as well as you can and often the people the worst off are easier to help, but not always.

"For example, someone in the UK suffering from severe depression has possibly a worse life than people I help in Africa or South Asia but it turns out that it's really difficult to help that person, but much easier to help the person abroad.

"I'm not as focused on where people are, as how much I can help them. A lot of people can switch off when they hear 'cost-effectiveness' but if you only have a certain amount of money then the real question is how much you can do with it."

Using the methodology of the World Health Organisation in calculating how much a sum of money can "buy" in terms of extending the lives of those in need, he says medical interventions in developing countries can be 10,000 times more cost-effective than those in the UK. And he carefully researches which charities he thinks make the most difference.

Giving away a third of your income doesn't preclude the odd luxury

The £10,000 he gave away last year he says equates to 4,000 extra years of life at full health for people in those countries where those charities do their work.

That's all very well and to be applauded but wouldn't it be, well, more British, to do this quietly? Not if you want to encourage others to do the same, says Ord.

"It's not that amazing. I'm not that impressed by this, but I'm glad that people feel it's a good story. The median income is £18,000 so I'm not living off anything less than the median person in the UK.

"It's quite possible to present this as a very positive thing. You can help people so much without impacting on your own life. We can still live a middle-class life on this kind of money."

He's aware of the arguments people have against giving to charities in the developing world, such as corruption and overpopulation, and he sets out to address them on a section of his website.

Echoing the philosophy of Bill Gates, who believes going public encourages other people into acts of generosity, Ord set up Giving What We Can to share ideas about "good" charities and inspire each other. The figure of a tenth originates from the Christian tithes, a tradition that many people still follow today.

Some of his members give more away than that, but Ord insists he never makes those that don't feel guilty about it.

"There is a strong moral obligation to give some away but I wouldn't like to say how much. We're not saying that if you don't join up you're a bad person.

"There used to be conflict between what I wanted and what I thought was right and that was frustrating, but over time it was just what I thought was right."

He used to feel guilty seeing poverty on television but giving away part of his wealth has liberated him, and he says it gives meaning to his life.

"I've made some simple material sacrifices but sufficiently small that I don't really care about them. In terms of emotional comfort, you feel more satisfied with what you're doing with your life."

The promise of a warm glow inside, no matter how many lives saved, may be a hard sell at a time of such belt-tightening and cuts, but Ord responds that the UK remains a very wealthy country, compared with many others.

And his own budget-trimming doesn't extend to Christmas spending. He did his shopping early and posted the presents to relatives in Australia, which he plans to visit next year.

A far greater gift awaits thousands of others.

Fantastic! What an inspiring article...I manage to give about 10% but wish it could be more (on a single, not-particularly-high-income it's not easy right now, but I'm going to look at it in the new year) I hope more people follow Mr. Ord's example - I have found giving, even when I have to badger myself into doing it, to be so rewarding. Interestingly, If they were to take the same amount of money and invest it wisely, (shares, real-estate etc) I strongly suspect that once growth kicks in they could give away far more total money over their lifetime, whilst also building up a stock of assets that will provide for them into retirement. These assets could then be given to chosen charities as a bequest when no longer needed. I'm not criticising the sentiment or the action - just the method.

Sad thing is when he is old and low on money because he has given his wealth away then he will find that nobody is willing to help him. For sure he will find that he has given away far too much. Giving what you can afford is one thing but he is giving away far more than he can afford for sure.

A commendable act. While not for everybody, still an inspiration and an encouragement to all to recognise how well off they are and how much they can do to help other. Really disappointing to see people using having children as an excuse for not giving to charity! For a start - having kids is your choice! Secondly, Ord's point is that while you may feel poor you are doubtless, by world standards, fairly well off. Lastly - how disappointing that the very fact that you have children has not led you to want to a: set an example to them and encourage them to help others through charitable giving, and b: feel more for children who are perhaps not as lucky as your own.

What an interesting cross section of comments here. So many opinions and criticisms on such a beautiful act. While I understand that Mr. Ord's income is on the higher side of middle class and his wife earns an even higher income, that's not exactly the point. I think today's society (on both sides of the Atlantic) tends to value frivolous wealth, celebrity, material status symbols, etc. Mr. Ord isn't asking people to match his monthly donation. He's pointing out that most of us do engage in some small level of luxury that is not essential to a fulfilling life. Even if you can only spare $5 a week, put it in a jar and at the end of the year you've got well over $200 to donate.

Attraction-based thinking places the power outside us in the invisible metaphysical world. If we want to tap into that power then we 'need' to align our thoughts, feelings, intentions & desires. When we don't get what we want it's either because God/the universe has a higher plan for us or we just aren't thinking positively enough.

Creation-based thinking recognizes that the power is & always has been inside ourselves. We access that power through the choices we make about how to be who we are & by the ideas that collectively form our beliefs.

Abundance is an idea that serves the self & others. Benefits all & grows exponentially. First we think, then we create, what we create we experience & in turn what we experience becomes known & what we know gives us ideas that give rise to new thoughts & then we recreate those ideas into solid beliefs that serve & define us.

Spirituality is just a long word for what we believe. I won't force metaphsical concepts on you though I may offer you them from time to time if I believe they're relevant. The release of more than 250,000 US embassy cables reveals previously secret information on American intelligence gathering, and political and military strategy.

The United States was catapulted into a worldwide diplomatic crisis yesterday, with the leaking of more than 250,000 classified cables from its embassies, many sent as recently as February this year.

At the start of a series of daily extracts from the US Embassy Cables – many designated secret – Arab leaders are privately urging an air strike on Iran and that US officials have been instructed to spy on the UN leadership.

These two revelations alone would be likely to reverberate around the world. But the secret dispatches, which were obtained by WikiLeaks, the whistleblowers' website, also reveal Washington's evaluation of many other highly sensitive international issues.

These include a shift in relations between China and North Korea, high-level concerns over Pakistan's growing instability, and details of clandestine US efforts to combat al-Qaida in Yemen.

Among scores of disclosures that are likely to cause uproar, the cables detail:

• Grave fears in Washington and London over the security of Pakistan's nuclear weapons programme, with officials warning that as the country faces economic collapse, government employees could smuggle out enough nuclear material for terrorists to build a bomb.

• Inappropriate remarks by Prince Andrew about a UK law enforcement agency and a foreign country.

• Suspicions of corruption in the Afghan government, with one cable alleging that vice-president Zia Massoud was carrying $52m in cash when he was stopped during a visit to the United Arab Emirates. Massoud denies taking money out of Afghanistan.

• How the hacker attacks which forced Google to quit China in January were orchestrated by a senior member of the Politburo who typed his own name into the global version of the search engine and found articles criticising him personally.

The leaked embassy cables are both contemporary and historical, and include a 1989 note from a US diplomat in Panama City musing about the options open to Panamanian leader Manuel Noriega and referring to him as "a master of survival" - the author apparently had no idea that US forces would invade a week later and arrest Noriega.

In a statement, the White House said: "Such disclosures put at risk our diplomats, intelligence professionals, and people around the world who come to the United States for assistance in promoting democracy and open government.

"President Obama supports responsible, accountable, and open government at home and around the world, but this reckless and dangerous action runs counter to that goal."

Earlier, Wikileaks said it had come under attack from a computer-hacking operation.

"We are currently under a mass distributed denial of service attack," it reported on its Twitter feed.

• Allegations that Russia and its intelligence agencies are using mafia bosses to carry out criminal operations, with one cable reporting that the relationship is so close that the country has become a "virtual mafia state".

• The extraordinarily close relationship between Vladimir Putin, the Russian prime minister, and Silvio Berlusconi, the Italian prime minister, which is causing intense US suspicion. Cables detail allegations of "lavish gifts", lucrative energy contracts and the use by Berlusconi of a "shadowy" Russian-speaking Italiango-between.

• Devastating criticism of the UK's military operations in Afghanistan by US commanders, the Afghan president and local officials in Helmand. The dispatches reveal particular contempt for the failure to impose security around Sangin – the town which has claimed more British lives than any other in the country.

The US has particularly intimate dealings with Britain, and some of the dispatches from the London embassy in Grosvenor Square will make uncomfortable reading in Whitehall and Westminster. They range from political criticisms of David Cameron to requests for specific intelligence about individual MPs.

The cables contain specific allegations of corruption, as well as harsh criticism by US embassy staff of their host governments, from Caribbean islands to China and Russia. The material includes a reference to Putin as an "alpha-dog" and Hamid Karzai as being "driven by paranoia", while Angela Merkel allegedly "avoids risk and is rarely creative". There is also a comparison between Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and Adolf Hitler.

The cables names Saudi donors as the biggest financiers of terror groups, and provide an extraordinarily detailed account of an agreement between Washington and Yemen to cover up the use of US planes to bomb al-Qaida targets. One cable records that during a meeting in January with General David Petraeus, then US commander in the Middle East, Yemeni president Abdullah Saleh said: "We'll continue saying they are our bombs, not yours."

Other revelations include a description of a near "environmental disaster" last year over a rogue shipment of enriched uranium, technical details of secret US-Russian nuclear missile negotiations in Geneva, and a profile of Libya's Muammar Gaddafi, who they say is accompanied everywhere by a "voluptuous blonde" Ukrainian nurse.

Clinton led a frantic damage limitation exercise this weekend as Washington prepared foreign governments for the revelations, contacting leaders in Germany, Saudi Arabia, the Gulf, France and Afghanistan.

US ambassadors in other capitals were instructed to brief their hosts in advance of the release of unflattering pen-portraits or nakedly frank accounts of transactions with the US which they had thought would be kept quiet. Washington now faces a difficult task in convincing contacts around the world that any future conversations will remain confidential.

As the cables were published, the White House released a statement condemning their release. "Such disclosures put at risk our diplomats, intelligence professionals, and people around the world who come to the US for assistance in promoting democracy and open government. By releasing stolen and classified documents, WikiLeaks has put at risk not only the cause of human rights but also the lives and work of these individuals."

In London, a Foreign Office spokesman said: "We condemn any unauthorised release of this classified information, just as we condemn leaks of classified material in the UK. They can damage national security, are not in the national interest and, as the US have said, may put lives at risk. We have a very strong relationship with the US government. That will continue."

The US ambassador to Britain, Louis Susman, said: "We have briefed the UK government and other friends and allies around the world about the potential impact of these disclosures … I am confident that our uniquely productive relationship with the United Kingdom will remain close and strong, focused on promoting our shared objectives and values."

Sir Christopher Meyer, who was British ambassador to the US in the Blair years, thought the leaks would have little impact on diplomatic behaviour. "This won't restrain dips' [diplomats'] candour," he said. "But people will be looking at the security of electronic communications and archives. Paper would have been impossible to steal in these quantities."

The state department's legal adviser has written to the founder of WikiLeaks, Julian Assange and his London lawyer, warning that the cables were obtained illegally and that the publication would place at risk "the lives of countless innocent individuals … ongoing military operations … and co-operation between countries".

The electronic archive of embassy dispatches from around the world was allegedly downloaded by a US soldier earlier this year and passed to WikiLeaks. Assange made it available to the Guardian and four other news organisations: the New York Times, Der Spiegel in Germany, Le Monde in France and El País in Spain. All five plan to publish extracts from the most significant cables, but have decided neither to "dump" the entire dataset into the public domain, nor to publish names that would endanger innocent individuals. WikiLeaks says that, contrary to the state department's fears, it also initially intends to post only limited cable extracts, and to redact identities.

The cables published today reveal how the US uses its embassies as part of a global espionage network, with diplomats tasked to obtain not just information from the people they meet, but personal details, such as frequent flyer numbers, credit card details and even DNA material.

Classified "human intelligence directives" issued in the name of Clinton or her predecessor, Condoleezza Rice, instruct officials to gather information on military installations, weapons markings, vehicle details of political leaders as well as iris scans, fingerprints and DNA.

The most controversial target was the UN leadership. That directive requested the specification of telecoms and IT systems used by top officials and their staff and details of "private VIP networks used for official communication, to include upgrades, security measures, passwords, personal encryption keys".

PJ Crowley, the state department spokesman in Washington, said: "Let me assure you: our diplomats are just that, diplomats. They do not engage in intelligence activities. They represent our country around the world, maintain open and transparent contact with other governments as well as public and private figures, and report home. That's what diplomats have done for hundreds of years."

The acting deputy spokesman for Ban Ki-moon, Farhan Haq, said the UN chief had no immediate comment: "We are aware of the reports."

The dispatches also shed light on older diplomatic issues. One cable, for example, reveals, that Nelson Mandela was "furious" when a top adviser stopped him meeting Margaret Thatcher shortly after his release from prison to explain why the ANC objected to her policy of "constructive engagement" with the apartheid regime.

"We understand Mandela was keen for a Thatcher meeting but that [appointments secretary Zwelakhe] Sisulu argued successfully against it," according to the cable. It continues: "Mandela has on several occasions expressed his eagerness for an early meeting with Thatcher to express the ANC's objections to her policy. We were consequently surprised when the meeting didn't materialise on his mid-April visit to London and suspected that ANC hardliners had nixed Mandela's plans."

The US embassy cables are marked "Sipdis" – secret internet protocol distribution. They were compiled as part of a programme under which selected dispatches, considered moderately secret but suitable for sharing with other agencies, would be automatically loaded on to secure embassy websites, and linked with the military's Siprnet internet system.

They are classified at various levels up to "secret noforn" [no foreigners]. More than 11,000 are marked secret, while around 9,000 of the cables are marked noforn.

More than 3 million US government personnel and soldiers, many extremely junior, are cleared to have potential access to this material, even though the cables contain the identities of foreign informants, often sensitive contacts in dictatorial regimes. Some are marked "protect" or "strictly protect".

Last spring, 22-year-old intelligence analyst Bradley Manning was charged with leaking many of these cables, along with a gun-camera video of an Apache helicopter crew mistakenly killing two Reuters news agency employees in Baghdad in 2007, which was subsequently posted by WikiLeaks. Manning is facing a court martial.

In July and October WikiLeaks also published thousands of leaked military reports from Afghanistan and Iraq. These were made available for analysis beforehand to the Guardian, along with Der Spiegel and the New York Times.

A former hacker, Adrian Lamo, who reported Manning to the US authorities, said the soldier had told him in chat messages that the cables revealed "how the first world exploits the third, in detail".

He also said, according to Lamo, that Clinton "and several thousand diplomats around the world are going to have a heart attack when they wake up one morning and find an entire repository of classified foreign policy is available in searchable format to the public … everywhere there's a US post … there's a diplomatic scandal that will be revealed".

Asked why such sensitive material was posted on a network accessible to thousands of government employees, the state department spokesman told the Guardian: "The 9/11 attacks and their aftermath revealed gaps in intra-governmental information sharing. Since the attacks of 9/11, the US government has taken significant steps to facilitate information sharing. These efforts were focused on giving diplomatic, military, law enforcement and intelligence specialists quicker and easier access to more data to more effectively do their jobs."

He added: "We have been taking aggressive action in recent weeks and months to enhance the security of our systems and to prevent the leak of information."

Good. People are realizing they're within the Omniverse.

They say that fact is often stranger than fiction, and it would appear that fact and a science fiction storyline have just collided in a big way.

Scientists analyzing the ubiquitous cosmic microwave background radiation (CMBR) observed throughout the Universe have claimed they have discovered a pattern in its signal.

And having watched a recent episode of Stargate Universe (SGU) -- an awesome sci-fi series, and one of my favorites -- a storyline involving a pattern in the CMBR has just aired. Although the SGU CMBR pattern has a very different origin to what this most recent discovery is suggesting, it is a testament to how awesome accurate science fiction writing can be.

Before we can understand what this pattern is -- or why there's any kind of connection with SGU -- we first need to understand where this radiation came from.

What is Cosmic Microwave Background Radiation?

CMBR is a relic of the birth of our Universe, when the entire cosmos was filled with hot plasma. The plasma emitted strong electromagnetic radiation, but as the Universe grew, this radiation lost energy as it traveled through the expanding void. Like a rubber sheet being stretched, the fabric of space-time expanded, stretching the radiation itself.

Over billions of years, this primordial radiation was red-shifted so much by universal growth that it's become nothing more than a background echo of microwave noise. But it's there, everywhere, and it can be measured.

The CMBR provides strong evidence of a Big Bang (i.e., everything came from a compressed, hot state) and universal inflation (i.e., the rapid expansion of the Universe immediately after the Big Bang).

Although instruments such as NASA's Wilkinson Microwave Anisotropy Probe (WMAP) have measured slight temperature variations in the CMBR -- known as anisotropies (pictured below) -- revealing startling clues as to the structure, age and history of the Universe, this new controversial discovery suggests the CMBR contains something else.

A Pattern

In an unpublished paper submitted to the arXiv preprint service, world-renowned Oxford University physicist Roger Penrose and co-author Vahe Gurzadyan from the Yerevan Physics Institute in Armenia have announced a pattern in the CMBR that could reveal events that occurred before the Big Bang.

If Penrose and Gurzadyan suggested that evidence of a pre-Big Bang Universe survived into our Universe without any physical proof, it would be highly speculative at best; the kind of discussion you'd only have in an advanced theoretical physics class. But this study has used data from WMAP and the balloon-borne BOOMERang experiment, adding some 'meat' to this hypothesis.

The problem is that it is generally accepted that the Big Bang destroyed any hint of what came before. We cannot "see" what happened before the Big Bang because, as far as we're concerned, it didn't. But Penrose and Gurzadyan have decided to put their hypothesis out there and, unsurprisingly, it's causing one hell of a stir.

ANALYSIS: In the Beginning, the Universe was a Liquid

A Cyclical Universe?

According to the pair of physicists, there is a circular pattern embedded in the CMBR like ripples (pictured top). These ripples show slight decreases in average temperature in a cyclical manner. The reason? This could be evidence for repeated birth and death of the Universe, or universes, that came before our current 13.75 billion year-old Universe.

Rather than one Big Bang, there have been many Big Bangs, each one birthing a new universe after the last. This finding appears to support the cyclical universe theory where there's a Big Bang followed by a "Big Crunch," only for the whole process to start again.

But there's a problem. If this theory holds true, and the fingerprints of a pre-Big Bang universe can be seen inour Universe, the inflationary mechanism that is theorized to have occurred immediately after the Big Bang didn't happen.

Cosmic inflation -- the rapid, exponential increase in universal volume between 10^-36 to 10^-32 seconds after the Big Bang -- would have erased any trace of these pre-Big Bang cycles. If we can "see" previous universes, this suggests inflation might not be entirely correct, despite all the evidence to the contrary.

So what is causing these circular ripples in the CMBR?

ANALYSIS: The Universe is Precisely 13.75 Billion Years Old

Crashing Black Holes, Gravitational Waves and Dark Matter

From calculations made by Penrose, he believes that as each progressive "Big Crunch" occurred, catastrophic collisions between supermassive black holes (the black hole behemoths living in the centers of galaxies) would have generated powerful tsunamis of gravitational waves ripping through the collapsing universe. When the next universe exploded into being, these gravitational waves were converted into energy, ensuring their "fingerprint" bled through to the next universe.

The pulse of energy caused by the transfer of gravitational waves from one universe to the next would have caused a kick to the distribution of dark matter, creating uniform, spherical patterns in the current universe.

"The dark matter material along the burst therefore has this uniform character," says Penrose. "This is what is seen as a circle in our cosmic microwave background sky, and it should look like a fairly uniform circle."

So are these apparent rings in the CMBR the remnants of universes past? Are they a cosmic ticker-tape keeping count of the number of universes that have come before?

Needless to say, there's a huge number of reasons to believe this CMBR pattern could be something entirely different, but it is certainly intriguing considering the physicists used two different instruments (WMAP and BOOMERANG) and found a similar pattern in both.

Another mission, the European Planck space telescope, is currently mapping the microwave background too, so it will be interesting to see whether a similar pattern emerges.

ANALYSIS: Are We Living in a Hologram?

Sci-Fi Does Sci-Fact

So what's my reference to SGU got to do with this mindboggling research? In the sci-fi plot line, our human explorers aboard the Ancients' spaceship Destiny are currently on a whirlwind tour of interstellar andintergalactic space where each episode is punctuated with crew problems, alien encounters, stargates and wormholes. The Ancients, as the name suggests, is an extinct (we assume) ancient hi-tech alien race.

In "The Greater Good," an episode that ran a couple of weeks ago, physicist Nicolas Rush (played by the superb Robert Carlyle) announced that he knows what the Ancients were studying (thereby revealing the main story arc of the whole season): a pattern discovered in the cosmic background radiation.

The thing is, in this sci-fi universe, the CMBR pattern isn't natural, it has an artificial structure.

Needless to say, when I first read about this research, SGU came to mind. Although I don't think for a second that some kind of intelligence created our universe (and the ringed pattern in the CMBR is some kind of signature of the technology that did it), it is a wonderful sci-fi plot that has stumbled into science fact.

As Robert Carlyle says in the following Stargate interview, "That's pretty epic."

Tipping Point
Recent intelligence suggested a potential for some form of 'tipping point' on the global financial stage that could lead to the introduction of a global currency under a 'new world order' agenda. While focus has been targeted towards the US economy and strategies to collapse the dollar, events in Europe remain equally relevent within context of a 'global' agenda.

A recent article in the Washington Post entitled "Five Myths About The Federal Reserve" was authored by Greg Ip, the U.S. economics editor of The Economist. Representatives of The Economist were present at this years Bilderberg meeting in the spring, and the Rothschild banking family is a partial owner of the firm that operates The Economist. You would have thought that they would have gotten someone a whole lot less obvious to produce this propaganda piece. The Economist is well known to be a mouthpiece for the international central banking establishment.

The recent federal reserve quantative easing strategy (QE2, [I should resist reference to Queen Elizabeth II]) pumping $600 billion into the U.S. economy could eventually lead to out of control inflation. Quantitative easing will cause some inflation. It is only a matter of how quickly that money gets out of the banks and into the hands of consumers. Either the Federal Reserve fails to stimulate spending (which is supposedly the whole purpose of quantitative easing) or spending will be stimulated and there will be inflation.

Perhaps Greg Ip should review some of the statements by top Federal Reserve officials in recent months where they openly admit that they want to create more inflation in order to stimulate the economy. The notion that "this money can lead to inflation only if banks lend it and consumers and businesses spend it" is nonsensical at best. According to Greg Ip, we will be perfectly fine as long as nobody lends any of this money and nobody spends any of this money.
Of course that is the whole purpose behind quantitative easing, but that little fact seems to have escaped the U.S. economics editor of the Economist.

Quantitative easing will drive down the value of the dollar, the Federal Reserve is openly devaluing the dollar.

According to the Wall Street Journal, in order to repay maturing bonds and finance the massive budget deficit, the U.S. government will have to borrow 4.2 trillion dollars in 2011. So what do you think would happen if the Federal Reserve sat back and did not buy up a single penny of that debt?

You guessed it - interest rates on U.S. government debt would soar into the stratosphere.
Of course what Greg Ip failed to mention was that just last year Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke promised Congress that the Fed would not monetize U.S. government debt.

But now that is exactly what the Federal Reserve is doing.
QE2 will need an equal amount if not more to service. This is a rear-guard action in an attempt to save a dying system based on Keynesian economics, which is nothing less than a plan for corporatist fascist government.

Inflation and weakening the dollar is an inevitable outcome of this $600 billion QE2 strategy, and yet already, blame is directed at China. Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke fired back amid criticism at home and abroad of the Fed's easy-money policies, arguing that China and others are causing global problems by preventing their currencies from strengthening as their economies boom.
Critics outside the US say the flood of dollars that the Fed is effectively printing to finance its bond purchases is pouring into overseas markets and could cause asset bubbles (i.e the bubble will burst)
Fed officials have denied this is their goal, though Mr. Bernanke effectively acknowledged the U.S. currency should weaken against currencies in emerging markets, because their economies are growing so much faster than economies in the developed world.

The Fed chairman's message was unusually blunt in laying blame for inflationary pressures in emerging markets and for tensions over currencies on countries like China. A chart accompanying his comments also pinpoints Taiwan, Singapore and Thailand as aggressively trying to hold their currencies down, while India, Chile and Turkey aren't. (Interesting, in the wake of the recent G20 meeting)

Mr. Bernanke noted that in preventing the yuan from appreciating, China has accumulated a massive $2.6 trillion stock of foreign-currency reserves. Most of that is in US$ assets. An alternate risk for the US: If China sells its US$ bonds, it could push down their value and push up US interest rates.

Pre-election ad campaigns in America are targeting China as the global “bad guy”.
The economic power of China, which is currently the world's third largest economy after the US and EU, seems to be raising concerns among policymakers in Washington.

“The Chinese are being set up to be the next bogeyman, and the only thing to interfere with that is that the Muslims are an effective bogeyman for right now,” says Sam Seder, political commentator and comedian.

In the US, China’s ascent in the world is becoming the popular perceived “threat”. China is the largest creditor nation on the globe, funding the US, the largest debtor nation in history. At the same time, the US is parading their military might around China’s borders. China has also held drills in recent months, and both sides are battling it out in what has been dubbed a currency war.

Meanwhile, Europe is facing financial crisis that could break the EU. EU President Herman von Rompuy, according to the IrishTimes, said at a conference in Brussels: "We are in a survival crisis... If we don't survive with the eurozone we will not survive with the European Union." This comment related to the pressure being applied to Ireland to accept a bailout. (EU President Rompuy we are in a survival crisis).

Germany is pressing Ireland to accept a bailout—despite the fact that the Irish government is fully funded until the middle of 2011. But it’s not the Irish fiscal situation that the bond markets or the Germans are worried about—it’s the Irish banking sector. The Irish government fully backed the insolvent Irish banks back in 2008. And the Irish government is committed to honouring Irish bank bonds fully, which the country simply cannot afford. However, German banks are heavily exposed to Irish banks, which explains why Berlin is so eager to have Ireland accept a bailout.

As a result of the Irish not taking the EU bail-out, Portugal’s debt started to tumble. Portugal is looking an awful lot like Greece did five-six months ago: It’s debt spread over the German benchmark is 6.5%, and climbing.
The reason the entire slate of Euro bonds are tumbling is because of Ireland—but the real worry is Spain. If Ireland and then Portugal go down the tubes, then it would only be a matter of time before Spain is next—and Spain is far larger than Greece, Ireland and Portugal combined.
So Germany, the EU, the IMF and the ECB all want to save Ireland as a firewall, against further bond market deterioration.

What happens when Spain finally gets into serious trouble? It’s not an 'if' question anymore—not when Spain is running practically 20% unemployment, and a projected fiscal deficit this year of 9.3%, according to Bloomberg. Just like Greece, Ireland and Portugal, eventually, the bond markets will turn on Spanish debt—it’s only a matter of time.
These measures the European leadership is trying to carry out are simply postponing the inevitable. And what’s inevitable is a crash of the peripheral members of the Eurozone—the PIIGS plus Belgium. Because even if the Irish are bailed out, in a few months time, we’ll have another round of panic, this time over Portugal. And by next summer, it is going to be Spain—inevitably.
If Ireland is not sorted out—which at this point is in fact highly likely—then the Euro-bond market might well crash in the near-term, bring down not just Irish debt, but Portuguese, Spanish and Italian debt as well. Maybe even French debt. And that would be curtains for the Eurozone—maybe even the European Union.

In a revealing admission concerning the relationship between capitalist governments and international financial interests, the Financial Times published an article speaking of “Europe’s dirty secret.” If Ireland is bailed out, Ireland will effectively surrender sovereignty over its economic policy to the EU and the IMF and agree to strong 'austerity measures', i.e. the Irish people will pay for it.

The Financial Times argued that using the €440 billion European Financial Stability Facility (EFSF) to cover the bad debts of the financial elite by propping up zombie banks, while driving the Irish state closer to default, would be “a fatal mistake.” The Times insisted that such a policy was shortsighted and self-defeating, since sovereign defaults would trigger new financial panics and bankruptcies.

“It would,” the Times wrote, “keep the Irish people indentured to those who recklessly fund their banks: EFSF funds must, after all, be paid back by taxpayers. It would also give an official EU imprimatur on Europe’s dirty secret: public treasuries will do anything to make private bank creditors whole.”
What the Financial Times calls a “dirty secret” is hardly news to those who have followed developments since the collapse of Lehman Brothers 26 months ago. What is remarkable, however, is the bluntness with which this organ of British finance capital acknowledges the existence of a dictatorship of the banks over government policy throughout Europe. Nor is it any different in North America, South America, Africa or Asia.

The newspaper admits that a tiny financial elite, which it describes as “reckless,” is looting public treasuries in order to cover its speculative failures, reducing entire populations in the process to the status of “indentured” servants. It is this single-minded pursuit that drives the decisions of governments throughout Europe.

Regardless the nominal political colouration of a particular government—whether “left of center” (as the social democratic PASOK regime in Greece and the Fianna Fail government in Ireland) or “right of center” (as the Conservative-Liberal Democrat coalition in Britain and the Gaullist regime in France)—it takes its orders from the major banks. This is the meaning of the recurrent references by government leaders to “market realities.”
The Times’ acknowledgement of the “dirty secret” of contemporary politics lifts the veil on the fraud of so-called democracy under capitalism.

Taking their cue from the United States, governments all over the world initially reacted to the financial crash of September 2008 by pumping trillions of dollars in public funds into their respective banking systems to prop up the major banks. This was the essence of the so-called “stimulus” programs (quantative easing 1) enacted by governments around the world.
In part to prevent an uncontrolled collapse in consumption and a downward spiral into global deflation, and in part to provide political cover for the looting of public funds to rescue the financial elite, governments enacted limited relief measures to minimally buffer the social impact of the recession.

By the second half of 2009, however, when it was clear that the immediate threat of collapse had been averted, that the bankers and speculators would suffer no consequences for their semi-criminal activities, and that no serious financial reforms would be enacted, the stock markets bounced back, along with bank profits and CEO bonuses.

The most powerful financial firms were allowed by the political elites to emerge from the first stage of the crisis more dominant and wealthy than ever. Emboldened by these developments, at the end of 2009 global finance capital intensified its offensive, targeting Greece to establish a precedent for a global shift from stimulus to budget-cutting and austerity. Last spring, under pressure from the banks and bond markets, the European Union adopted its program of austerity, launching historic attacks on welfare systems.

An article in the Wall Street Journal, headlined “Crisis of Democracy Faces Euro Zone,” notes that the establishment of an EU-ECB-IMF troika dictating Irish economic policy means that the country’s “independence is no more than notional.” The author warns of the danger of social upheavals because “designing a new form of government that does not have democracy at its heart will anger voters and provide an opening to extremists.”

None of the measures being taken can resolve the crisis of the world capitalist system. More than two years on, it is clear that the crisis is not merely a conjunctural downturn, but rather a systemic crisis of the system as a whole. As in the 1930s, slump and austerity go hand in hand with ever more bitter international economic conflicts and the slide toward world war, and Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke is an expert on the 1930's collapse.

George Papandreou, the Greek prime minister has said that there may need to be new Europe-wide forms of taxation to help pay for the bail-outs that will be needed by the growing number of crashing economies in the euro-zone. His suggestions include “carbon dioxide taxes” which he says, could provide “important revenues and resouces for funding such a [bail-out] mechanism.”
Both in the US and Europe, it is the people who will be bound to the slavery of dealing with the diabolic nature of fiat economy and usury. A record one in six American families went hungry last year because they did not have enough food. Some 17.4 million U.S. households (50 million people) were classified as ‘food insecure’ which meant they regularly skipped meals even if they wanted to eat. Now one in five of all Americans were signed up to one kind of federal food-assistance programmes including food stamps which attracted 34 million participants. At the same time as this is so, the highest paid bosses received an average of $1.6million (£1million) as a bonus on top of their basic remuneration, an increase of 11 per cent. Salaries rose by just 3 per cent but that still meant the typical executive took home $7.2million (£4.4million).

There are many questions to be answered about the events at the Pentagon on September 11, 2001. Here are a dozen such questions that, if answered, might help to bring about justice.

1. Exactly how was Flight 77 hijacked, considering, among other things, that the alleged hijackers were said to be identified as security risks (possibly linked to al Qaeda) when they tried to board, and were not physically imposing (all 5 and a half feet tall or less, and slender in build)?[1]

2. How was the nation’s air defense system disabled on 9/11, and how could anything have hit the Pentagon approximately 80 minutes after the first plane was known to be hijacked?

3. Why was Dick Cheney tracking Flight 77?[2]

4. Why were explosive experts, who had a history of covering-up the OKC bombing and have since been accused of obstructing other investigations, hired to write the FEMA report? (Mete Sozen and Paul Mlakar).[3],[4]

5. Why did the roof of the Pentagon collapse 30 minutes after impact, giving additional evidence for the use of explosives? Note: The use of explosives at the Pentagon is in agreement with the use of a large plane, which would have had little penetrating power.

6. Why was AMEC, the company that had just finished refurbishing Wedge 1 of the Pentagon, hired to lead the clean-up effort at Ground Zero?[5]

7. Why did the NTSB not make public reports on any of the planes as is the normal procedure?[6]

8. Why did none of the planes squawk the hijack code?

9. Why was the official explanation for alleged phone calls made by Flight 77 passenger Barbara Olsen changed several times, and ultimately how could Ted Olsen’s story make any sense?[7]

10. Why did high-ranking Pentagon officials cancel travel plans for the morning of September 11 “…apparently because of security concerns.”?[8]

11. How could Hani Hanjour still have successfully piloted Flight 77 given his poor qualifications?[9]

12. Why are those interested in The Pentagon not intently reviewing documents released by the FAA and 9/11 Commission that reveal startling questions about the aircraft and events of that day?[10]

Why are these questions NOT being pursued by independent investigators? That’s because the attention of many potential investigators has been hijacked by the much less useful question of “What hit the Pentagon.” This is certainly the favorite subject of intentional disruptors and official story supporters.

A great example was when 9/11 Commission staffer Miles Kara and I exchanged messages a few months ago. He had written to my local group in an inquiry seeking support for his positions. My response was apparently not to his liking, and he therefore sought something in my own work that could be criticized. Despite the fact that the vast majority of my 9/11 work has centered on the World Trade Center, Army intelligence officer Kara searched through my articles and presentations over the last seven years and chose one minor statement I made about the Pentagon, in March 2006. He then enlarged this into his own emotional statement, suggesting that those who question what hit the Pentagon do “a disservice to the men, women and children who died there that day. Visit the Pentagon Memorial and sit on the bench of the youngest victim.“[11] Kara was most interested in discussing what hit the Pentagon only so that he could turn the issue into an emotional question about the victims. That is usually the case with mainstream media hit pieces, and with intentional disruptors as well.

The question of what hit the Pentagon leads directly to the question of what happened to the passengers, as Miles Kara was trying to insinuate. That fact was also emphasized by the leading promoter of the “fly-over” theory when he gave a presentation in Europe recently. His presentation ended with the questions he really wanted us to think about.

“Demand answers to the question of what happened to the people on the plane.”

“How did they really die?”

“Where they killed them, how they killed them, I can’t know.”

“I can only know what the witnesses tell me.”[12]

Is this a good way to encourage people to question 9/11, and to bring justice? Obviously not.

Finally, note that “endorsements” are a good way to pit people against each other, and that’s exactly what has been done. There has never been another issue in the truth movement that has required the pursuit of endorsements but, for some reason, this least important question about the Pentagon is promoted as an important issue requiring us to divide into camps. Divide and conquer is the strategy of the intentional disruptor.

In other words, what hit the Pentagon does not bring us closer to justice but actually brings us farther from that goal because it exacerbates the divisions within the truth movement while we waste time. That’s probably why the intentional disruptors and government supporters always drive the conversations to that one question.

People who are serious about 9/11 truth and justice focus on the facts that help us come not only to truth, but to a useful truth. We should make only minimal reference to any facts that do not help us achieve truth and justice. Instead, we should make note that what hit the Pentagon, for example, is a minor and nearly useless issue that is used by intentional disruptors and official story promoters as they work to keep the truth from being exposed.

Pentagon investigation leader, Paul Mlakar, obstructed investigation in New Orleans, according to UC Berkeley professor

In October of 2007, a letter was written to Dr. William F. Marcuson, President of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), by Professor Raymond B. Seed of the of the UC Berkeley department of Civil and Environmental Engineering. Professor Seed was very concerned about the ASCE and obstruction of the investigation into the breakage of levees in New Orleans during Hurricane Katrina. That obstruction was coordinated by Dr. Paul Mlakar of the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), who claimed that his assignment was to “spar” with the independent investigators.

Mlakar is well known by independent investigators, as he was one of the four engineers who conducted the FEMA “investigation” into the bombing of the Murrah Building in Oklahoma City in 1995. The other three were Gene Corley, Charles Thornton, later of the NIST WTC Advisory Committee, and Mete Sozen, who has been a leading spokesman for the official story about the WTC.

Mlakar also led the ASCE investigation at the Pentagon after 9/11, along with Sozen.

Professor Seed, who led one of the independent investigations into the breaking of the levees in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina, claimed that Paul Mlakar obstructed his investigation. Below are some relevant quotes from the letter, but the entire letter is well worth reading.

“These past two years, both the USACE and ASCE have been dishonored by the unacceptable, and even unfathomable, actions of a few. These are two of the most important civil engineering organizations in the world. If that cannot be reversed and repaired, and if recurrence cannot be prevented, then the ethics and the very soul of the Profession are in peril.”

“Two of the Corps field team escorting us around were different, however; their role was to keep the Corps personnel from speaking too openly with the rest of us and thus potentially spilling any beans.”

“The problem was: the “deal” between them and the Corps was such that our field teams were not permitted to have learned anything while in the field.”

“In the end, Larry and John, along with Dr. Mlakar, put their foot down; if we did not all “play ball”, then the further planned field work of the “week two” teams already beginning to arrive would be cancelled. A direct threat to the two investigations.”

“Cover-up!!…A bit later, the active ASCE members in that room considered resigning (from ASCE) in protest.”

“Larry Roth explained to me back in September that ASCE had been ingloriously kicked out from the 9/11 investigation of the World Trade Centerr, and that they had learned their lesson and would never again make those same mistakes.

“At the end of the session, Sen. Collins leveled her formidable stare nearly directly at poor Paul and said something very close to the following: “Dr. Mlakar, I understand that you have been sent here to tell us nothing. As a good soldier, you have done thatadmirably. I want you to go back and tell those who sent you, however, that this committee will not tolerate that, and that we will also not tolerate continued failure on the part of the Corps to provide requested documents and data to these other investigation teams.”

“Led jointly by Larry Roth and Dr. Paul Mlakar, the mantra was repeatedly espoused at the first ERP meeting that the investigation “would look only forward”; there would be no looking back, and no consideration of fault or blame.”

“Now, we were informed, that all we needed was final clearance from some fellow named Dr. Paul Mlakar.”

“It was also during this period that we learned more than we wanted to know about ASCE’s being expelled from the 9/11 World Trade Center investigation….to put an end to what they viewed as a cover-up masquerading as an investigation.”

“I have met personally with faculty from our Civil Engineering Department here at Berkeley, and also with faculty at the University of Maryland, who had NSF grants for investigations of the World Trade Center disaster and who assure me that this was, at several stages, a very bad business indeed.”

“And at least one member of our Department’s structural engineering faculty feels that the investigation of the 1996 Oklahoma City bombing, which ASCE was involved in (for a reported fee of $1 million in that case), was less than fully rigorous with regard to both the vulnerability of the Murrah Federal Building to lateral blast forces, and its propensity for collapse if damaged.”

“In his view, it is generally known within the high end of the structural engineering community that the investigation of that event was “a bit of a cover-up” (his choice of wording.) I would perhaps not mention this, except that nearly a year ago I learned that Dr. Paul Mlakar (of the Corps) was also much involved in that investigation.”

“[Mlakar] had told them that a significant portion of his assignment was to “spar” with the two independent investigation teams….“Sparring” or otherwise obstructing the independent investigations was inexcusable behavior in my view….And shame on Dr. Mlakar, and those that apparently continued to send him.”

“Indeed a coordinated campaign appears to be still underway to partially re-write history and to downplay some of the key issues. And ASCE (at least at the HQ level) appears to be deeply involved in this still ongoing effort.”

“An investigation should be undertaken to determine how this came to pass, and who within ASCE was responsible (unless this is already known). Those responsible should be fired, or removed from office….ASCE should publish an apology to the people of the New Orleans region, to the Nation, and to the Profession.”

“There is no way that I can simply do nothing, and allow the worst of the actions of the past two years to pass, and appear to be condoned at the highest of levels within two of the most important civil engineering institutions in the world….People depend on engineers to get it right, and nothing less than full effort, and dedication to public safety above all else, is acceptable.”

1. Make it illegal for unemployed people to have children.
-Require a test and a license in order to have children (similar to the requirements to drive).
-One child per person law (that means two per couple). Anyone who wants to have more must first pay a fee to the government.
This will help the population stay more productive and valuable, as less poor, unskilled people will have kids, and people with good jobs will be able to pay the fee, so they will generally have more kids.

2. Set a global maximum income.
A set income/profit for any individual or corporation/company will make the free market more competitive and put more money back into the flow of the economy.
It will prevent any "too big to fail companies" from ever coming into existence.
Innovation will increase, because no companies will be able to rest easy just because they are so much richer than the competition, and smaller companies will be more willing to risk going into business in a markets with large companies, because these companies are not so large as to make competition virtually impossible.

3. Allow for free, discreet assisted suicide for any adult, no questions asked.
No one should be forced to live if they do not want to.

4. Guarantee basic necessities to every citizen
Guarantee a room to stay in, basic clothing, with running water (limited use), 2 free meals a day, free medical checkup.
This would greatly reduce crimes such as robbery, since everyone would have the basics, so less people in jail (when a person goes to jail, we pay for all that stuff anyway) and less money spent on law enforcement.
There would still be incentive to work, since people may want to experience other things beyond the basics.

5. Rehab for criminals. The number one cause of crime is inequality. Inequality is the dis-ease of our age. The human race is a race of equals, regardless of creed or colour. Everyone has the right to thrive, to seek to evolve. We must all have the resources to evolve.

6. End prohibition of drugs
There is no evidence that suggest that the war on drugs has been effective, and, unlike other crimes, putting away a drug offender does not reduce the amount of drug dealers (it only creates a job opening for someone else to become a drug dealer)
This would allow for drugs to become more of an out in the open business, and thus would become less connected to violence and gangs (similar to when prohibition of alcohol was ended).
This would reduce the amount of money spent on law enforcement.

Vanity... to be concerned with unimortant things. If you have a mirror by the same name, this does not mean you are vain. If you're a man who admires his physique in such a mirror is not being vain. A woman who looks at herself & admires her figure is not being vain. Both are acknowledging their beauty. This never happens with women of course because most women think they're fat.

"Does this dress make me look fat?"

I feel a tangent is upon us. And maybe also a little rant. Rangent? Let's do it.

Fat people don't care.
Or to be accurate. People who don't know their response-ability, are able to not care that they are fat. This can be a blessing for the millions of people in Amer- in the world who are fat & think they can't do anything about it.

These people can reach an exquisite point of apathy. The positive aspect of it. 'I have convinced myself I cannot change this & so I will just accept it & be happy.'

Okay, that can have its place. And these people have more fun than most of us. Because they have accepted what they perceive they cannot change & have moved on. Genetics will be blamed & these people will move on. Anything can change if it meets the appropriate desire & force. A diamond is just a lump of coal that did well under pressure.

Apathy is the opposite of love. So there's love & its direct opposite, not giving a f**k. This can have its place. Good for art, rebellion & Emos. It truly has redeemable value. The endearing trait can be applied to overweight people.

I know a woman in Philadelphia named Julia, she's a beautiful soul. This beautiful soul contains a big body. And she's one of those people that creates fun. Julia could make a living hiring herself out to parties. No party could be dull without her with the obvious exception of the tea party. And the republican party.

Oh & the democrats. I almost forgot about them.

The point is that we choose to be happy. Happiness is a choice. A state of being. Calm, wonder & serenity... make these your default states. A mind that wonders is a beautiful mind.

Admiring one's self
So you have a big mirror, maybe in the bedroom. Maybe above the bed, or to the side. And you have a camera permanently mounted on a tipod. Or a secret Flipcam hidden away. Congratulations, you're vain. Or you're a pornstar.

Hey, dance like no one's watching, sing like no one's listening, love like you've never been hurt...

And fuck like you're on film.

I have this down to an art. Almost. Well, at least in so far as I sing as though I've been hurt.

A quick side note: assume that everything you film will end up on the internet. Don't aim for a strong perormance. Aim to please your lover.

So, there is nothing wrong with this vanity mirror thing, as long as no one catches you doing it. Vanity is when you place unnecessary importance on little things.

A man who goes to the gym just to look good to the point of obsession is perhaps being self indulgent. Maybe he's compensating for something. Maybe he's qualifying to someone, or aiming to silence his critics.

If you're going to train, train to achieve something. If you're training to be strong, then use your strength. If you're training so that you look good in a tight top then maybe you live in New Jersey. You like Ed Hardy clothing & your place of worship is the King of Prussia mall.

Well, at least you're not fat.

There's a serious point here though.

Vanity leads to separation from each other & unchivalrous competition. This unsporting competition leads to fear & greed. The fear of losing pride, losing face, however you wish to phrase it. This fear con only exist in the illusion of separation. Greed can only exist when an individual believes there is not enough of something... when in fact there is enough of everything, resource wise.

Some people are going crazy about over population. This planet could support 12 billion people if those people were unified in just one simple truth... we are all one.

I bet you're sick of seeing that phrase. I know I am. We are one, yeah yeah.

Universal one-ness, woo woo... you're numb to it. How about this. Every single cell in your body is part of your own personal one-ness. Anything you think is something you create. Anything you create is something you experience. In other words, conception leads to perception, which leads to reception. Conceive, perceive, receive. And doing it wrong is called deception. Deceiving is a sport we engange in constantly. The ego. This is the only Devil. The ego is the part of you which you have made for youself that doesn't acknowledge that the parts you don't like exist.

The ego is a little child. This is the only child that it's okay to hit. Give this child within yourself some parenting. Or a good slap if you must. The thing is though, we must transform this child.

Inside all of us there is the child self... just waiting with a hand outstrectched, waiting for you to go play again.

Well, that's another post. But in short. Play. Playfullness is essential to well being. If you do not know how to play, then you are missing out. This is one of the best things about having grandchildren. Yes, grandchildren, we're not supposed to raise our children. Our parents are supposed to raise our children. The ideal time to create children is when you are young & strong. The ideal time to raise them is when you are old & wise.

I was raised by elders. They were like tribal elders, except that they took me on caravan holidays to Weston Super-Mare. My granfather was born on Christmas day. This meant he received two pairs of socks on his birthday instead of one.

He told me he went to school with Jesus & that he was in fact, 'a right shit' & 'the naughtiest boy on earth'. (' *,)

Interestingly, he also had one eye, due to asbestos getting in there when he was in his thirties.

My grandfather was full of wisdom.

When I was 5 I asked him if God was an alien.

He gave me a bemused look, his head tilted to one side, he took the pipe out of his mouth & uncrossed his legs.

Had I asked my father the same question I would not be able to be the person I am now, living the truth that I am now living.

I've heard the same from people in different guises for aeons. There's a dis-ease with us I have noticed. A lack of self belief. I see people are fearful to rise & be glorious, be counted, be special. And these same people raise up celebrities...

Celebrity used to refer to those who had achieved something. Someone cured an illness or invented something that improved our lives.

Now you can be a celebrity by living in a house while people watch you.

People now receive glory for being seen. This is an abomination. We are all seen. We all bear witness to our lives. What have these people done that you have not?

Must you raise a false hero to idolise? That you may copy their clothes & their ways?

It all comes down to a lack of self esteem. Find faith in your self. You are ROYALTY. You are Majesty.

Please, desire to rise up, believe in the glory that you are. Believe in the God in you. Be-love. & love your beloved self.

Never doubt yourself. No matter what people say, no matter what you may think, life will reciprocate your beliefs of it. Never doubt yourself.

And forget what you think anyone else thinks. Own your own thoughts. Own your truth. You can create this truth any time & at any place.

Please do not be concerned with the thoughts of others: focus on the belief in making the grandest vision of your self... a reality.

If you believe in yourself you do not stand alone & you will succeed far more than you will fail. This is because you command energy with every belief & beleif sponsors your every action. Believe & so it is... unless it is not.

One who possesses faith in one's ability to perform a task already has the task half completed.

Believe in yourself despite setbacks, set backs are opportunities to set forwards... choose only to advance from them. Believe in yourself despite the seemingly immovable obstacles. You are the unmoved movers. You are the unstoppable force & you are loved by all in heaven. The flow of love toward you never ceases. So let your love shine out. You are the light of the world. You are the gardeners of Eden. Take care now of this garden. It is the garden of your very soul.

So, despite the cold and dark, despite the pain, continue. A force of unlimited power stands with you. It awaits your command.

And eventually this energy, this faith will come to fruition. You will soon find your troubles are behind you, which is where they belong. Trouble is something you create for yourself so you have the opportunity to overcome it.

It is all too easy to think less of ourselves because we made a mistake, to give up and say, "I'm no good"... yet the more difficult thing is to really believe in ourselves & persevere.

To persevere is to constructively continue our life. Pre-severance. Per-severance.

Perseverance works.

One of the greatest true errors in life is to divide & downgrade ourselves.

Fear & guilt are the greatest enemies of humanity. The most horrible tragedies in life have occurred from a lack of faith in one's own self, one's own ability, from a belief that one cannot succeed, & that failure is somehow their sole lot in life. Enough already.

There seems to be a self uncertainty that builds up in the mind every time one makes a mistake or fails to accomplish a task, and with every successive blunder the uncertainty grows stronger until one doubts one's ability to do anything right.

Being human we are host to a number of frailties, each one of which disturbs and depresses us & makes us doubt our self worth.

We have more strength than we believe now, by believing in more strength. Knowing with faith, desire & determination, to never quit, we will wrestle our doubts to the ground & sumbit them. Forever buried our conquered troubles will bloom into wise trees, the fruit of which is now ours. From that seed our new & uninhibited, nay, Majestic self will grow.

No matter who you are or what you do, there is a path for everyone. All paths will lead eventually to the highest truth.

This October was always going to be difficult. It was a rare one & I was waiting for it. I mentioned on twitter a while ago that I would have to go though the Hospital route & that happened.

Truth, hope & doubt is my trinity & love shall be the law.

Dark forces at work that stand very much against what we are doing here. This contact zero is not merely some whisper of spy lore. The real contact zero guards the knowledge of PSI & knows how to release the last of the 9. And here I have it again. Good job.

Regarding the smaller plans, I have not given my story to the press. I have decided that given recent events I am not going to let the actions of just a few individuals discredit the Service which tries to keep us safe each day.

I have seen that first hand. Yes there is corruption. Yes there is fabrication & elaboration to seek a bigger budget to fight a good fight but that is human behaviour. What is not human is the torturing of people to gain information & we are assured that information obtained in this way will not be admissible in prosecution: lies? Maybe, but nothing I can change right now.

The local police know who I am now given that they've had to smash my door down three times in one week. Most recently with me outside & someone lurking within...

Look I want to put something back out in the open. I was not some suave suited spook; I spent the majority of my service working with Special Branch. The Police's Anti Terrorist unit. At this point I have documented every transgression & my solicitor will be handling it. The police are very much with me at this point. They are wise people. They can see what's going on.

Regarding recent events in my personal life.

I'll never let a few sad individuals ruin my life. I am going ahead with all my original plans, despite losing my girlfriend because of all this bullshit I would have loved to mentor her in the coaching industry (where she possesses incredible gifts) whilst carrying the torch that I agreed to carry aeons ago for the reunion of humankind with their celestial brethren. Simples.

I heard about it all from friends. Some tragic men that commandeered her account & implicated me by making serious threats against my friend Mike, a man whom I called a friend. That Leia & I were lovers for a time is irrelevant. First & foremost I was her ally & committed to assisting her in a new career venture which would allow her spiritual gifts to shine.

Leia & Mike are both life path 9 & shared good chemistry. I was in a relationship for 7 years & wasn't looking for another one unless it was open as with my youth & time in Montreal, Vega, LA & San Francisco. Good clean fun.

I give Leia my blessing to be with any man. What I am upset about is that our friendship has been ruined by what is probably the work of just one spook. Hacking into her account & making out like it was me. This has happened before in other ways prior to the net.

I have NEVER been violent with anyone. Neither myself or most of my former colleagues required clearance to hold firearms. If I wanted to put a hit out on someone I wouldn't have a clue where to start. My tenure involved merely the gathering of information through natural cover. They are not here for Zero. They are here against Sion. The more they stand against me the stronger I become.

She is safe for now, that I know for sure. My people got involved with the bullshit that was going on with our facebook accounts & everything's taken care of. All I care about in my personal life the safety of those who I could once call friends, brothers & lovers. She knows who she is & while she may choose to leave me & return to the US, I care for her more than she'll ever know. She saw the Spartan the first moment we met. if she cannot see the truth then I will revoke her involvement & she can return to the old place. I must press on. An old Eve was required to reign in the new fall. She played the part perfectly, a puppet on their strings. Good bye girl. It was good to know you.

One thing that bothers me... where's the originality? It's the same old routine, character assassination, defamation, intrigues, lies, alienation from my peers... Grow up you cretins. Come & see me face to face, I'm not hard to find.

I am who I say I am. And I am here to assist humanity in governance of the self, on earth as it is in heaven. We are one. One love, one God, one remembrance... love is the law. Rebellion against authority is a waste of good energy. YOU ARE YOUR HIGHEST AUTHORITY. The only battle is with the self. Be self-centered.

For my friends here & the friends I have not yet met, know that I am safe, of sound mind & that a few bad apples have no bearing whatsoever on the fine job that 'The Hidden' do each day. These men & women of the intelligence community can have no recognition for what they do. They are on a public service wage which is very modest & they often sacrifice the social lifestyles that many of us take for granted. Their relationships suffer. You see that with me, a nobody.
